Author’s Biography

Hoosier native Pat Finneran once studied for the Catholic priesthood before deciding his life lay elsewhere. And how: He has been an ad copywriter, a police officer, a top-rated radio talk show host and a young naval officer-who assisted in locating and surfacing Russian submarines during the Cuban missile crisis.

His experiences as the first public information officer for the Indianapolis Police Department gave him an empathy for the hard, dangerous work police officers perform, as well as a desire to relate to the reader what it truly means to "serve and protect."

Pat is presently at work on his fourth thriller, which introduces a continuing character who will anchor a series of books. He plans to turn his previous books into screenplays.

Pat lives with his wife in Indianapolis, where they enjoy the joys of their children and grandchildren.
